We anxiously waited 6 weeks to pick up the new 2008 17' Liberty Deluxe Casita we ordered in May. After driving all night long from Kansas City to Rice, we took delivery on a July-hot Texas morning. The instructions and explanations were involved and what we needed having never owned an RV before. We've called the service dept 4 times in the first year, and although having to leave a message a few times, we always always received a return before the end of the day.
The Casita is well built and the only problems we've had with it has been "operator error" - our learning curve. Some people wish for more options when they order, but the real beauty of owning a Casita is how many (or none if wanted) modifications and enhancements can be done. Our "ConEGGstoga Wagon" [Connie, for short] is totally our own.
You can't speak with parts or service to save your life... If you don't live near Rice, TX. I would consider another brand that can be serviced locally.

I have owned several RVs during my 40 years of RVing. This included Class-C, travel trailers and fifth wheels. The Casita trailer is very well constructed and equipped with major brands of appliances, etc. Though Ryan may have experienced some problems, I cannot support his opinion. I have received excellent service from the sales staff and the parts department. Please realize that there are limitations in the amount of service/parts personnel available to immediately accept calls. The current parts/service coordinator is Victor. A VERY conscientious, reliable and dependable employee. I have left several messages for him and he ALWAYS returns my call in a prompt manner. I am totally satisfied with my 2008 Casita SD 17 and support the purchase of a Casita product.
